Dear Apopka Church Family,

I. 2024–2025 Financial Update

We are overflowing with gratitude as we closed the 2024–2025 fiscal year at midnight Monday, finishing with a surplus of $2,602! Just a couple days earlier we had a material shortfall on our $522k annual goal and in the final hours of the year the response to our end of year appeal was compelling as we fully achieved our target.

Thank you for your faithful, sacrificial support. Your giving strengthens our mission and reflects the heart of a church that truly believes we are Stronger Together.

II. 2025–2026 Budget Increase

As we step into the next chapter of mission and ministry at Apopka, we covet your prayers and partnership.

It is now the season to begin principal payments on our mortgage. Adding insurance and FLEC constituency support, along with saving about $30K per year through efficiency and increased volunteerism, we will be stretched to raise an additional $144K per year above last year or $12K per month, as approved at our Sunday business meeting.

This breaks down to an average additional increase from our most active donors to about $100 per household monthly. At the end of the day, each sacrifice and donation is an offering to God and is blessed by His anointing.

We recognize this as a spiritual matter. This is the cost of our growing circle of believers as we bless our community seven days a week. We praise God for the people He has led to call Apopka home and trust He will continue to lead more households to share in ministry and sacrifice for His Kingdom.

III. Pastoral Response

(Shared at the June 29, 2025, Business Meeting)

1.    Prayerful

Start with prayer. Begin by praying for our spiritual needs, and also for our financial ministry needs. Ask God what He’s calling you to give. Let this be a spiritual decision, not just a financial one.

2.    Mindful

Every gift matters. We’re all in different places spiritually and financially. Let’s honor each other’s journey while moving forward with open hearts.

3.    Intentional

Give with purpose for ministry and mission. Our local ministries need steady support. We plan to share regular updates through our communication and during worship and fellowship so we can grow together in vision and faith. Your intentional response in your home is between you and God.

4.    Encouraging

Share the joy of giving for the sake of mission. Tell stories. Celebrate answered prayers. Inspire one another with what God is doing in and through us.

IV. Leadership Needs

Please prayerfully consider how you, or someone you know, may be able to help fill the following ministry vacancies. Contact one of our pastors for more information.

•    Church Clerk

•    Youth Sabbath School Teachers (2)

Leader and Assistant needed for the following ministries:

•    Audio-Visual

•    Family Life

•    Prayer

•    Religious Liberty

•    Sabbath School Superintendent

•    Sabbath School Secretary

•    Stewardship

•    Youth Leader

God is growing Apopka, and we are grateful to see mission and ministry expanding while also staying grounded in Jesus as our Foundation. He reminds us that we are Stronger Together!

With heartfelt appreciation,

Your Pastoral Team
