Apopka SDA Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Orland Rosales

Associate Pastor (Family Life)

Orland was born in Venezuela and moved to Baltimore, Maryland, at the age of 14. In his senior year of high school, he sensed God’s call to ministry and followed that path to River Plate Adventist University in Argentina, where he studied Theology and married his wife, Josie.

Since 2016, Orland has served as a pastor, first in Texas and now in Florida. He loves sharing life with Josie, their daughter Kate, and their dog Mia. Whether preaching, mentoring, or connecting in everyday moments, his greatest joy is helping people discover and experience the life-changing love of Jesus.

Jack Carey

Facilities Manager

Jack worked in education for 42 years as a teacher and administrator. His passion for nature has led him to be a champion for God’s Creation with a special focus on birds. He loves sharing stories with young and old, teaching Sabbath School and coordinating Zoom prayer meetings. He is married to Carol, who he fell in love with at first glance at college. They have two talented sons, two outstanding daughters-in-law and six fantastic grandchildren.
